Elevate yourself:

At Elevate Physical Therapy, we want to help you feel supported and confident in your healthcare in all stages of life. This can be particularly challenging with the changes that pregnancy and postpartum bring. We believe providing exceptional care during these times will help set you up for success in a smooth delivery and more comfortable postpartum recovery. No matter what stage of this process you're in, or if you're dealing with symptoms not related to pregnancy/delivery, we want you to know that you don't have to live with your symptoms, and treatment through pelvic floor physical therapy can help elevate your quality of life.

What is Pelvic Floor PT?

Pelvic floor physical therapy involves an assessment of your body's structures - most notably your joints, muscles, and nervous system. We often start with assessing the pelvis itself, but then evaluate how other structures in the body are impacting what's happening at the pelvis. Because of the close relation with your pelvic floor, questions regarding bowel and bladder habits will also be brought up. Once the structures that are contributing to your symptoms are identified, a unique care plan will be created for you including a combination of manual therapy techniques (soft tissue massage, cupping, scar mobilization, dry needling etc.), therapeutic exercises structured to mimic or support your daily activities, and education on how to care for your body systems to best set you up for success in resolving your symptoms.

How We're Different

What you receive when you come to Elevate Physical Therapy:

  • Complete and comprehensive care including a whole body evaluation to set you up for success for the rest of your care. This also allows us to find the root cause(s) of your symptoms, helping you find a long-term solution.

  • Care provided by the same provider from your first visit to your last, who is a licensed physical therapist and specializes in pelvic health and obstetric care, but also understands the musculoskeletal system and how it's impacted.

  • Full-length sessions that are an entire hour and one-on-one every time. This ensures plenty of time to discuss all concerns and get answers to your questions - because you deserve nothing less!

  • Services offered along the entire spectrum of care, including pelvic physical therapy in pregnancy and postpartum, doula services for support during labor and birth, as well as continued care afterwards to ensure long-term success in your health.
